- She won $1.475 Million lawsuit against the makers of Trail of the Pink Panther (1982): Said it insulted the memory of Peter Sellers.
- Her marriage to actor Peter Sellers was seen as a sham by his family and most of his friends, who believed that she only married him for his money. Frederick aggravated the situation by further alienating herself (and Sellers) from his colleagues. To this day she is not spoken of in favourable terms, and was even barely mentioned in the new HBO movie "The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers" (2004).
