- Popular Swedish singer.
- Has two children with Mikael Bolyos: daughter Inez Josefin (b. 29 April, 1993) and son Oscar Mikael (b. 26 November 1996).
- One half of the Swedish duo Roxette.
- After collapsing in her home in september 2002, she was admitted to Karolinska hospital (Sweden) where the doctors discovered a brain tumour. She had it surgically removed and has since undergone radiation therapy for cancer.
- Has four #1 pop singles with Roxette, Listen To Your Heart (1989), The Look (1989), It Must Have Been Love (From "Pretty Woman") (1990), and Joyride (1991).
- Together with Roxette partner Per Gessle, she was awarded King's Medal of the Eighth Size, received from Carl Gustaf XVI, King of Sweden (2003).
- Chosen Swedish Artist of the Year in 2000.
