  • Has allied herself with several environmental groups, including Greenpeace and The Sierra Club. She is also the National Spokeperson for the Wild Horse Sanctuary in Singletown, California and has campaigned for the preservation of the Wild Mustang in America.
  • Refused to reprise the role of Fallon Carrington Colby in 1985 when ABC launched the "Dynasty" (1981) spin-off, "The Colbys" (1985). The role was recast with popular "General Hospital" (1963) star Emma Samms.
  • Her parents Thomas and Margaret Martin were divorced in 1974 and have since both remarried.
