Because she was well-known for her appearances in the Gold Blend coffee adverts on TV, the writer of "Deceived By Flight" (episode 3.3 of "Inspector Morse") mischievously gave her character the line "Coffee! Ugh! I *hate* coffee. It gives me a headache."
