- With her consent Suzy Mandel's image was used in the UK cinema, and later video, artwork for the film Sexe qui parle, Le (1975). In spite of the fact that she isn't in the film!
- Began career as a coat model before becoming a lingerie model, winning modelling industry awards such as 'Miss Teenage London', 'Miss Benson and Hedges' and 'Miss TV Times'.
- Appears on the cover of the 1992 book 'Doing Rude Things: The History of the British Sex Film 1957-1981.'
- A body double was used for the hard core scene in Blond Ambition.
- Had a racing horse named after her, this despite the fact that the horse in question was a castrated male. Suzy Mandel (the horse) was trained by one Dick Allen in the Scottish Borders.
- A cartoon strip based around her called "The Adventures of Suzy Mandel", was published in Whitehouse magazine in the late 1970s.
